The old stable part of the building originally had a cobbled floor which had been covered in concrete. The layout of the stalls and the drainage channels could be clearly seen. The conversion of Y Stabl is now complete and offers a centrally heated homely two-bedroom cottage.
The five-star accommodation in Y Stabl consists of a large open plan ground floor with a fully-equipped fitted kitchen, with cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer, a dining area and a living area. There’s a multi-fuel stove in the living area, with logs provided free of charge from our own wood. There is also a colour television, video and Hifi with 3CD player.

Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, both with views across the Tefi Valley. There is also a large bathroom with a bath and shower.

The Old Coach House still retains the original archways which allowed the coaches access into the barn and these features have been retained in the conversion. Again the downstairs area is open plan with the same facilities as Y Stabl. Upstairs is a large open plan double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom as in Y Stabl.
We have put a connecting door between the two cottages, so that a larger party will be able to rent both units together as one. In this case Ty Cerbyd will be able to sleep 4 people with a sofa bed in the living area of the ground floor.

At the front of the units there are small gardens and parking areas for cars. To the side of the units are utility areas with a washing machine and drying room, and a store of logs for use in the multi-fuel stoves.
Although still in its infancy, we plan to provide guests with the use of a small vegetable garden with a variety of seasonal vegetables, salad leaves and herbs for them to pick and use during their stay here.
In addition we will provide you with a welcome pack including a few essential foodstuffs, such as milk, cheese, eggs (fresh from the farm) etc for your arrival. If you have any particular dietary needs please let us know so that we can accommodate these in your welcome pack.
