Come and relax in the peace, tranquillity and fresh air of Lanlas Farm Holiday Cottages.
Situated on the southern edge of the Cambrian Mountains, we are only a 25-minute drive from the beautiful West Wales coast where you can access the Ceredigion Coast Path – a fabulous 60-mile-long trail that stretches from Cardigan to Ynys Las.
We are in a secluded area but still only two miles away from the university town of Lampeter and all its amenities. Our farm overlooks the beautiful Teifi river valley, famous for its salmon fishing. There are numerous opportunities for walking (with local walks right from our doorstep), bird watching, cycling, or just relaxing and doing nothing – the choice is yours.
You can hear the owls call at night or watch the buzzards and red kites flying above the farm in the daytime. Little light pollution means you can see a fantastic number of stars on a cloud-less night.
Guests can explore our fields and our woodland, and we welcome well-behaved pets in all our cottages.
Some of our farm animals are frequent visitors to the cottages, especially our ducks, chickens and cats.
Converted from a stone-built carriage house, stable and cow shed, the cottages retain their original character, are warm and cosy and have modern amenities, including a fully-equipped kitchen, Freeview TV and wifi:
Ty Cerbyd - a lovely former Carriage House (one bedroom)
Y Stabl - a cosy converted Stable (two bedrooms), and
Yr Hen Beudy - the Old Cow Shed (two bedrooms) with scenic valley view.
All linen and towels are provided, and we can also supply a cot, high chair and baby gates if they are required.
There is a laundry room and DVD library for all to use, as well as wellies for wet days and buckets and spades for warm summer days by the beach. You will also find a good range of local maps.
