Dog Friendly Holidays - Who We Are
- Our Dog Friendly Cottages are on a 20 acre smallholding in the Upper Teifi Valley, two miles from the University town of Lampeter in West Wales.

- We fell in love with Lanlas at first sight. The cats, chickens and ducks roaming freely around the yard create such an easy going atmosphere and the views and setting are delightful. We were seeking a life-style change and the opportunity to carry out our work in peaceful and idyllic surroundings and Lanlas was just what we were looking for.

- We will continue to run the cottages in very similar fashion to the previous owners, Caroline and Jo, but will develop the barn extension as a space for healing, guided meditation, yoga retreats and workshops. We also hope to develop a wheelchair accessible holiday apartment. Visitors to the holiday cottages will be able to take advantage of these additional features on offer if they wish. Currently individual healing sessions are available for our customers and their animals on request. Most of the animals remain and you will find a few additions.....

- Smutt, a friendly elderly Lab/Lurcher cross is returning to his roots after travelling to East Africa and back. He likes sticking his nose into anywhere there is food, and will give you the impression he never gets fed! Stern words will keep him out of the cottages if he bothers you. Smutt comes with Cathy, who after a period of city farming more years ago than she cares to remember is delighted to be back 'at home' living and working with animals. Cathy is also a yoga teacher and healer.

- Louise is a Brennan healer. Moving to Lanlas Fawr is a dream-come-true for her because she loves animals and an outdoor lifestyle. Louise has 3 grown up children and in the past she has been a scientist and has taught both adults and children with learning difficulties.
- Now Louise has teamed up with Cathy and Clive to live the dream and continue to maintain the simple pleasures and tranquillity of Lanlas. She hopes to bring something of herself to Lanlas and create an even more unique and lovely environment to live in and share with our guests.

- Clive is a Body Mirror System healer and regular meditator having learnt Transcendental Meditation some 20 years ago. He loves all animals and enjoys being close to nature but his greatest passion is for horses. Clive has owned horses for 30 years and brings a six year old gypsy cob called Casper whom he has owned since a foal and backed two years ago. Casper is now a member of the Lanlas family along with Clive's rescued Border Collie called Dylan.
