River Fishing

This part of West Wales is famous for its Salmon rivers. The River Teifi, in the valley below Lanlas Holiday Cottages offers many opportunities for Sewin & Salmon fishing. Fishing Permits can easily be obtained locally. Coarse Fishing

There are many opportunities for coarse fishing close by. Springwater Lakes at Harford are a 10 minute drive away. As the name suggests, the lakes are all spring-fed and are well-stocked with carp and bream. There are also two trout lakes and a tackle shop on site.

Sea Fishing

There are ample opportunities for fishing from the beaches or from boats in Cardigan Bay. There is no permit required for sea fishing. Boats for fishing  can be hired from Newquay. Most boats display a blackboard with details on the pier at New Quay. It is worth asking boat owners about the availability of fishing trips.
